Cabletinis in Stripes

These are Wendy Johnson's Cabletini socks which is a free downloadable pattern available here.

Yarn: Schachenmayr Nomotta Regia Silk Color in white with blues (number 0191)
Needles: KA 6" dpns in size 2.0 mm (US 0)
Modifications: These were knit from the toes up using a Turkish cast on and a short row heel. I also reversed the direction of the cables on the second sock so that they are mirror images of one another.
Begun: Oct. 5, 2007
Completed April 21, 2008
Comments: I loved the the softness of the yarn. It was a pleasure to knit with. And I loved the needles--they were sharp, smooth, strong and short. I'll definitely be buying more of these needles. This was a fun pattern to make because it was easy to memorize but the cables required me to pay attention. They were perfect airplane/airport knitting.

Pretty, pretty; now I have yet another sock pattern, to add to the dozens and dozens I've accumulated. You chose a very nice colorway; crisp-looking.

And the brioche scarf needs photos, please, partially frogged or no.
